New York City, NYC, aka the " Big Apple" or The city that never sleeps are common names that refer to this grand metropolis. Home of the world's powerful financial, commercial, fashion and entertainment center and base of the United Nations headquarters. New York's population is grossing to over 8 M and being USA's largest metropolis, the city has a diverse culture with 36 percent of the population born outside of the country. There are more than 150 languages being spoken within the city. The city consists of five distinct boroughs: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. After 911, the Empire State Building dominated the largest and most famous skyline on earth.
